DESCRIPTION:Safety Breakfast Series\n\nLock Out - Tag Out & Arc Flash Testing \n\nPresented by: Gwenn with Lemberg Electric \n\n\n\nWorkers performing service or maintenance on machinery and equipment may be exposed to injuries from the unexpected energization\, startup of the machinery or equipment\, or release of stored energy in the equipment. \n\n\n\nLockout/Tagout (LOTO) is an important part of the electrical industry. It is a requirement of 70E Electrical Safety and ensures that when used properly employees are protected from electrical shock hazards. \n\nThis session will identify the proper tools\, testing and equipment used for LOTO and how to implement simple and complex LOTO procedures.\n\n\n\nThese quarterly safety programs are for construction professionals and will be held at various locations on timely and important industry topics. This is a joint program between PMC/SMACCA/AGC/NECA.\n\n\n\nThis course is approved for 1 CEU for plumbing\, sprinkler-fitting\, and electrical categories.\n\n \n\nLight refreshments will be served.
