Workers performing service or maintenance on machinery and equipment may be exposed to injuries from the unexpected energization, startup of the machinery or equipment, or release of stored energy in the equipment. 

Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) is an important part of the electrical industry. It is a requirement of 70E Electrical Safety and ensures that when used properly employees are protected from electrical shock hazards. 
This session will identify the proper tools, testing and equipment used for LOTO and how to implement simple and complex LOTO procedures.

These quarterly safety programs are for construction professionals and will be held at various locations on timely and important industry topics. This is a joint program between PMC/SMACCA/AGC/NECA.

This course is approved for 1 CEU for plumbing, sprinkler-fitting, and electrical categories.
